In Jersey City, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New Jersey on weekdays. Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Jersey City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My family has been ordering Stadium since I was a child and I'm in my 40s now. Joe the owner, is still there and he still remembers my father and I from my childhood. Walking in there is walking into a piece of nostalgia and childhood memories. It hasn't changed much and still has that wonderful pizza smell that I've always remembered. The pizza, zeppoles and beef patties are delicious and it holds a special place in my heart because we've been going there for so long.

βm extremely disappointed with the service from Stadium Pizza, especially as a long-time, loyal customer. I want to start by saying I never leave reviewsβgood or badβbut this behavior was unacceptable ! Every month, I order pizza from them for my staff meetingβsame day, same timeβbecause their pizza is genuinely good. However, every single time I call, the woman who answers the phone sounds annoyed and is consistently rude and unfriendly. Despite that, Iβve continued ordering because of the quality of the food. This time was completely unacceptable. I called ahead, as I always do, and clearly scheduled my order for 6:00 PM. Instead, my pizza was delivered around 5:00 PM. The driver called, and I politely explained that I wasnβt at the location yet and asked him to give me a few minutes since no one would be there until 6:00. Less than a minute later, the same woman called me back screaming and speaking in a completely disrespectful and aggressive tone, insisting that I never told her 6:00 PM. I was shocked. I had to raise my voice just to be heard and asked to speak to a manager. When the manager got on the phone, he was just as dismissive. He claimed I refused the deliveryβw

5 Stars βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Iβve been going to Stadium Pizza in Jersey City since I was in grammar school with my mom. We fell off for a few years but recently went back, and itβs just as memorable as ever. They might have one of the best regular cheese slices in the whole county. The fries are always a hit, and some of the same staff are still there, including the sweet lady at the counter. That says a lot right there. Tried the broccoli bites for the first time and they were surprisingly tasty. Inside, not much has changed. Still clean, still comfortable, with plenty of self-seating and even some nicer tables in the back if you want a more sit-down feel. Bonus points for plenty of parking. Itβs nice to see a local spot stay true to what made it great.

Stadium Pizza has been here many many years, decades. The quality of their pizza is amazing and has not changed, consistently good every time. A solid choice if youβre in the Rt 440 area and a quick detour to avoid the mayhem of 440/Communipaw traffic. Always with great and friendly service. It gets pretty busy during lunch and dinner hours so call ahead for your pie π The interior is quite nostalgic of the old New York Style pizzeria the only thing missing in the plaza is a Blockbuster Video next door! π π

I am not normally a fan of NY style pizza but my partner is so while we were in NY/New Jersey she found this place. OMG was this pizza good. I usually find NY thin crust really soggy and greasy but this pizza had a great crunch in it and the slice came our piping hot. It was so good that we stayed for seconds. We highly recommend Stadium for your pizza craving!! π
